Hurricane Irene moved out of the New York City area this morning. Shortly after the rain subsided, residents of Jersey City, New Jersey came out of their homes to assess the impact. Damage was limited to isolated areas of flooding. Many residents had to pump water out of the ground floors of their building. Some were faced with flooded cars or were stranded between flooded areas. Jersey City, USA 28/08/2011
