A weekend filled with festivities due to the annual Notting Hill Carnival has come to an end. The festival is led by the West Indian community. UK. 29th August 2011

Despite latest riots in London, Notting Hill carnival did not fail spectaculars expectations – it is the same biggest street carnival event in Europe with lots of bands, music and Caribbean food. What you could notice is a bit more heavier police presence and even more control points were set up to control crowd, but that did not stop hundreds of thousands of people from celebrating end of summer by attending Notting Hill carnival.
