The Vermont community is coming together after one of the most devastating floods in the states history from Hurricane Irene, dating back as far as 1927. USA. 31st August 2011
(Killington, VT)- Hurricane Irene swept across the eastern sea board of the United States sunday, August 28, 2011. There were 11 states were affected, Vermont one of the worst. Local excavators and citizens are coming together in what is being called one of the worst floods in Vermont history. There are many towns still barred from the rest of the world as bridges and roads collapsed as the water rushed down rivers and streams raising into towns.
