Springboks receive a spectacular send-off to defend their IRB Crown
South Africans have come out in their thousands to bid farewell to the national rugby team who depart for New Zealand, to defend their IRB Rugby World Cup crown. Santon, South Africa. 1st September 2011
Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton has today turned into a green and gold sea, when multitudes of South Africans converged to bid farewell to the national rugby team ahead of their World Cup challenge in New Zealand. The Springboks are the defending champions and they are now off to New Zealand.
The boys were encouraged to go and defend the trophy and to bring it home again like they did in 2007.
