Cleveland Harbor in Cleveland, Ohio on Lake Erie at the mouth of the Cuyahoga River was hit by Winter snow storms, high winds, and frigid air temperatures during the month of December.

Due to the winds and wave action the lighthouses, buildings, channel markers, and other objects were covered with layer upon layer of ice by the waters of Lake Erie.
