Today it is a full month that more than one hundred people belonging to ANDHA, the association of national housing debtors have camped out by the shores of the Mapocho River. On May 8th, they camped on the shore to protest the hundreds of pending cases. In the last thirty days, the families that have settled under the bridge of Pious the XI have been visited by parliamentarians. Police have not cleared the place, as camping near a river is not illegal. ANDHA intends to culminate their protest with an indefinite hunger strike.
