Acres of cannabis grown legally in Surrey

Hundreds of acres of cannabis are being grown in a small area around Dorking in Surrey and the crop has attracted thieves who think they have struck gold and are carrying away hugh quantities of the crop – trouble is that while the crop is cannabis, for the drug takers it’s wrong sort of cannabis because the strain does not possess any intoxicating effects, it is actually hemp used in building products, food, cosmetics and textile production. It has been suggested that some drug dealers are among the thieves who are drying the plant and mixing it with real cannabis.
