34th Rally of Lebanon

Automobile and Touring Club of Lebanon officially organized the 34 International Rally of Lebanon on the 16, 17 and 18 of September under the auspices of his Excellency the president of the Republic, General Michel Suleiman and which will constitute the fifth round of the Middle- East Rally Championship for 2011
the Rally launched from the headquarters of the Club in Kaslik at 5 pm on Friday the 16th of September, adding that the race length is 861 km, with 14 special speed stages of 265.50 km mentioned 4 night special stages on Friday 16 and 4 day special stages on Saturday 17, as well as 6 stages on Sunday, followed by the coronation ceremony at 6.30 pm on Sunday at the club headquarters. Moreover Fouad Chehab complex hosted once again the maintenance pit stop. Finally, the 42 participants, led by the six times Middle East champion, the Qatari Nasser Saleh Al Attiya, the Lebanese champion Roger Feghali who monopolized the title of champion for the last seven editions of the Rally, the Emirati Sheikh Abdullah al Qassimi, in addition to other star drivers from Lebanon, Kuwait, Syria, Jordan, Italy and Britain. Believed that the great number of participants is a proof that Rally of Lebanon which is held on tarmac roads unlike the rest of the Middle East stages enjoys a great reputation.
