An exhibition in Pua, Nan province, Northern Thailand on 24 September 2011 of the Siamese rhinoceros beetle also known as a Duang Kwang fighting beetle. (Xylotrupes gideon) They are kept on a sucker-cane stick, with a cord on it's upper horn for preventing it to leave. The owner of the insect trains and keep them on this stick that these beetles eats. With a special sound imitating the female mating call he stimulates the beetles to fight. These beetles on a stick are sold for 50 bath (around 2 dollar) each.
