It was a beautiful sunny day for the crowd and participants at the 10th annual Muhtadi International Drumming Festival held in Queen's Park. Percussionists from many international styles included steel drums, kodo drumming, taiko, celtic and afro roots. The festival is so named after it's Trinidad-born founder and artistic director Muhtadi, who has devoted the last 30 years of his life to community-based arts programs both nationally in Canada and internationally.
