Description:

More then 3000 people, students, teachers, and university professors members of all the different unions, high schools and universities in the area of Marseilles gathered in the street and marched along the Canebiere street to protest about the education system status and the government priorities. Against suppressions of posts, closing of classes, cutting budgets and in general the basic issues of the high (23%) unemployment rate among the youngs, while in contrast the fact that France positioned the 3rd in the world when it comes to millionaires. The demonstration was led by the communist parties and the FSU union (the biggest union in the education sector).
