SANTIAGO .- Families, gays, lesbians, heterosexuals, transsexuals and transvestites met this afternoon in Plaza Baquedano to participate in a new march for equality and sexual diversity convened by organizations such as Action Equal Gay Foundation.
Protesters marched to demand the Alameda early adoption of the plan against discrimination that is six years in Congress and ask for progress on equal civil union and agreement of common life.
The column began to advance at 15:00 hours in the Avenida Alameda to Spain with Grajales Street, where at this time performing a closing ceremony in which various national musicians.
Among those attending noted the presence of former Finance Minister Andres Velasco, members of the PPD Maria Antonieta Saa, Pepe Auth, the president of that group, Carolina Toha and Karla Rubilar parliamentary RN.
"I want my children to grow up in a country where citizens have no first or second. The people can marry regardless of sexual orientation, that is a free and democratic country," said former Secretary of State .
The latest version of the march was held in June this year, with a similar route and a massive attendance.
