An assault on a train controller that was attacked brutally and stabbed four times, caused the train drivers all over France to declare a strike that totally paralize the country that is so depended on the train traffic. The public accept these strikes quite often without any protest despite the fact that its a huge collective punishment that does not change anything. However the public is not happy with this and voices has been raised if the unions are not abusing their rights to strike. the confusion in the train station in Marseilles is big and the SNCF the national train company placed attendents to help their customers.
