A Billionaire's March in which protesters marched to five different billionaire's homes on the Upper East Side of Manhattan took place in the city in affiliation with the ongoing Occupy Wall Street protest over corporate greed. USA. 11th October 2011
Angry that examples of the 1% exist so close to Zuccotti Park, the home to Occupy Wall Street, the protesters took their message to one of the richest enclaves in the world, the Upper East Side of Manhattan home to some of the richest and most powerful people. At their final stop, at the home of a Banker named Paulson who earned a reportedly 5 Billion dollar salary last year, the protesters deposited mock check for that amount.
