The Rome rally against social cuts and European Bankers started peacefully but turned violent as organized groups penetrated the rally by attacking banks and launching paper-bombs and throwing stones against police. Rome, Italy. 15th October 2011

Violence erupted in Rome during the big march of tens of thousands of “indignados”. Groups of masked youngs, called “Black Block” by the press, destroyed luxury cars and shops. After five hours of guerrilla more than 90 people were injured, some in serious condition. One vehicle of "carabinieri" was burned in San Giovanni Square. Mostly of demonstrators tried to stop violents.
