Angry crowd reacts to arrest of 'Occupy' Protester - London
Thousands held a rally outside St Paul's Cathedral in a bid to occupy the London Stock Exchange. Police moved in to contain the crowd arresting several protesters. Other minor clashes took place between protesters and police. UK. 15th October 2011
The Occupy Wall Street protest against the global financial system spread across Europe, Middle East, U.S. and Canada. Thousands protesters held a rally outside St Paul's Cathedral in a bid to occupy the London Stock Exchange in the nearby Paternoster Square. London police barred protesters from reaching the area and the demonstration remained focused on the steps around the cathedral. Police moved in to kettle the crowd, several protesters were arrested and there were minor clashes between the protesters and police.
