Watching the Rugby world cup final in the streets of Marseilles

Magnificent ambiance for a beautiful game. Marseilles as well as the rest of France stopped this morning for an hour and a half to watch the "Blues" playing against the "All Blacks" in the final of the rugby world cup taking place in New Zealand, The French gave a huge fight and despite the early pessimism was very close even to win the game and their supporters appreciated it very much. all over the center of Marseilles cafes and bars showed the game and people were gathering chanting, singing jumping screaming as they were in the stadium itself. The result 8-7 to New Zealand was in a way a disappointment to everyone as France was better and more dominant in the second half.
Marseilles is known to be a football city but obviously has enough rugby fans to make this morning a celebration that even the cool weather didn't interrupt.
