Dublin City Council declared Dublin is in emergency as three days of torrential rainfall, have closed shopping centres, major roads and parks throughout the city. Dublin, Ireland. 25th October 2011

The rain started to fall on Sunday and continued almost none stop through till Tuesday morning. Rail services had been suspends, flights diverted from Dublin airport and homes destroyed by the raising flood waters. These shots are from the suburbs of Dublin, also effected just as bad as the city centre. The area's involved are from Baldoyle and Bayside. This photographer made the wise decision of cycling around for an hour as some roads were impassable to motor vehicles.
