The town of Xoxocotla, whose community is made up largely of indigenous people, commemorated the annual Day of the Dead by making offerings of flowers on the graves of their relatives. Mexico. 2nd November 2011

Children, youth and adults seeking to reach the graves of their relatives to clean, decorate and be a moment beside the grave as a sign of respect.

Masses and prayers paid tribute to the memory of those who "went ahead"

With cantoya rockets and balloons announcing the end of this celebration-tribute.

As daylight hours depleted the ranks of people became longer, seeking water to cool their graves.
