Thousands of homebound people had to remain stranded on road for hours in the high way traffic jam Friday.

At the same time traffic jam at Doulatdia, Aricha, as well as Dhaka-Mawa-Khulna road and Dhaka-Aricha-Barisal road resulting in untold sufferings to the people.

Over ten thousand homebound people on the and Dhaka-Aricha road had to remain stranded due to traffic jam.

Hundreds of buses, trucks and other transports were seen stranded on the road creating 12-kilomitre long traffic jam.

As the vehicles could not move, the passengers, mainly the women and children, had to experience untold sufferings.
