To commemorate the willingness of Abraham (Ibrahim) to sacrifice his son Ishmael (Isma'il) as an act of obedience to Allah, before Allah intervened to provide him with a ram to sacrifice instead, Muslims residents of Section 10, Shah Alam, Selangor in Malaysia slaughtered a few cows before distributing the meats to their family, relatives, friends, neighbors and to the poor and needy as they celebrating the day of Eid Ul Adha (Festival of Sacrifice), today.

Eid Ul Adha Celebration are usually dated on the same date every year according to the Islamic Calendar (Lunar Calendar) in the month of Dhull Hijja.
