Occupy Norfolk protesters arrested after refusing to leave public park
The City of Norfolk evict occupiers of the Commercial Plaza Park. The Norfolk Police Department informed the occupying campers that they would have three hours to gather all belongings and vacate the camp or be arrested. USA. 10th November 2011.
Norfolk VA, November 10, 2011 - According to a occupying protesters, at approximately 6:30 AM, at the end of handoff for a security shift, the Norfolk Police Department showed up and informed the occupying campers that they would have three hours to gather all belongings and vacate the premises of the camp. The protesters were told that anyone in the boundaries of the plaza would be facing arrest.
