Electricians and construction workers lunched a protest by rank and file workers in front of the Pinnacle against the new deal of cutting 35% of their wages and overtime rates. London, United Kingdom. 9th November, 2011

Electricians and construction workers lunched a protest by rank and file workers in front of the Pinnacle against the new deal of cutting 35% of their wages and overtime extra pay, black listing activists and other working conditions.

This kind of protest day by day is growing in London because they are free from big Trade union beaurocracy and hierarchy. This time they got mass support from other rank and file workers such as RMT, Unite, teachers, students, LSX occupation and varieties of organisations and individuals.
Protesters around 8am left the Pinnacle toward central financial centre and banks to St.paul LSX occupation to show their solidarities. LSX occupiers and electricians exchanged their solidarities by highlighting their common problems, such as fat cats bankers, corporation and employers.
Rang and file workers in the march chanting “ all out all out” . Some of them in their speeches said;
We should stand shoulder to shoulder together; we should stand as one class fight against our company who made 91 million profits and its chief executive over 1miilion just in one year in his packet. We shouldn’t let them to divide us; it is not only the electrician the NHS workers are under attack too. By new agreement trying to bring casual work.
We have to think about the future of our children, the most powerful thing is solidarity, we should fight against cuts and black listing workers activist too, union beaurocrats always trying to control us . we don’t need them we can unite and fight as a working class.
