First day of national strike in Chile ends up with clashes. Valparaiso

From all parts of Chile came to meet teachers and students in Valparaiso and march on the first day of national strike for education that the teachers along with the Confederation of students called. About 15 thousand people hit the streets of the port city.
However, the police cracked down harshly to the protesters at the same time that a cultural event held, which had to be suspended. Tear gas and water cannons was released against any who got in front the police.
