The conflict started from Sintrivaniou Square where masked threw the first petrol bombs at police. The police in surprise move, made the first spoliation. The protesters directed at the Polytechnic School of Aristotle University where he continued clashes with groups of officers that was on the premises of the TIF. After intense stone throwing and throw chemicals between demonstrators and police, the police poured into the campus. It is the first year would not apply the law on university asylum. Along with uniformed police officers came and plainclothes officers for possible arrests. The arrival of police on campus lasted little. Result of tension was to go out in the field of conflict, the Rector of the Aristotle University, John Mylopoulos, and request the withdrawal of the police.
