Portraits of young people in the bay area who have participated in the greater Occupy movement.
Many featured in this photo essay are college, and university students who have come out in large numbers to join Occupy movements in San Francisco , Oakland, and Berkeley. Students at all levels of public education across the Bay Area are under pressure. The issue that affects them are the massive budget cuts and tuition hikes in the state of California. The students whom I encountered do not see a future for themselves unless drastic changes occur within society.
