At the end of the Mass, Pope Benedict XVI came to St Peter Basilica to bless the members of the Italian Caritas. The Caritas is a Christian organization active in 64 countries and it is involved in programmes promoting emergency relief and rehabilitation, social integration and micro-finance to support poor people in establishing secure livehoods
