Activists have set up an 'Occupy COP17' forum in response to the current framework and debate on dealing with climate change currently held in South Africa. Durban. 1st December 2011

Speakers Corner, junction of Walnut Rd and Bram Fischer Rd across from the Durban ICC. Occupy COP17 can be a forum for those who wish to discuss and implement real and equitable solutions to climate change, with climate justice at the heart. It is open to all, operating on the principles of inclusiveness, openness, non-hierarchical organising and consensus decision making.
