Global day of action against the increase of CO2 emissions which causes the climate change lunched on Saturday 3rd Dec 2011 in central London. All the marches joined each others at the North end of Blackfriars Bridge by a group from Christian Ecology Link coming from a Prayer meeting at St Mary le Bowe, a group of Buddhists coming from a meditation session on the South bank - and a substantial contingent coming via a 'Walk of Shame' through the City from a Climate 'teach in' at the Occupy camp at St Paul's.
10.30-12 Steps of St Paul's, Climate Justice teach out and open space workshop started from 10.30 to 12.30 on the steps of St.Paul’s. they had some talks. Workshops. Then they had a tour around the camp.
This marchers walked along side river Thames then just before embankment turned right , passed Downing Street and approached Parliament before gathering for a rally at 'Old Castle Yard' opposite Parliament. In this place the crowd split into two groups in a ratio of one to seven (or 7% to 50%).
There were many placard and the banners about 'climate Justice' and some of the placards highlights that '7% of the world's population produce 50% of the world's emissions
7% of the world's emissions are produced by 50% of the world's population.
