An alliance of protest groups and political parties gathered outside the Dáil to protest against the Government's Budget that has introduced a raft of austerity measures. Ireland. 6th December 2011

A crowd of roughly 500 protesters have demonstrated outside the Irish parliament on Tuesday evening to voice stern opposition to the Government's two day Budget that has introduced a series of harsh austerity measures. Featuring a variety of left wing protest groups and political parties such as Sinn Féin, the protest was staged to coincide with Finance Minister Michael Noonan's Budget day announcement.
