UK Uncut Protesters protestors staged a 'flash freeze-in” inside Topshop’s flagship store in Oxford street before being moved outside onto the pavement.
The grassroots campaign aims to highlight alternatives to the Government’s austerity cuts, urging Parliament to pursue co-operations and rich individuals such as owner of Topshop, Sir Phillip Green, who they say have avoided billions of pounds worth of tax.
They were met with a heavy police presence that included metropolitan police, a territorial support group, and carriers and private security.
