The 5 times national champion Viktoria Helgesson wins the gold medal, against her sister Joshi during the Swedish National Figure Skating Championship.

The Helgesson sisters are ranked the top female figure skaters in Sweden. Born in 1988, Viktoria is a 5 consecutive times national champion. Among her best international placements are 4 times Nordic champion, a 10th placement in the World Figure Skating Championship 2010 and a 3rd placement in Skate America 2011. Her younger sister Joshi is a consecutive times junior national and nordic figure skating champion, got a 4th placement in the World Junior Figure Skating Championship 2009 and beating her sister by 2 placements with a 15th placement in the World Figure Skating Championship 2011.

Being Sweden's top female figure skaters, the Helgesson sisters will most likely compete in the European Figure Skating Championship 2012, however, only one of them can qualify for Sweden's single spot in the World Figure Skating Championship 2012.
