Last week, Nik Aziz said that he prayed for Malaysian Prime
Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, to change his mind concerning oil royalties, failing which he would pray for the destruction of the prime minister and Umno's future.
The issue caused at least 200 people to gather in front of Kota Darul Naim last week, demanding that Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat step down as Kelantan Cheif Minister.
They were unhappy with his sermon asking the people
of Kelantan to pray for the Prime Minister's downfall if
the federal government did not pay oil royalties to the
state.
