Un grupo de féminas del Comité de Madres “Leonor Pérez” se unieron con el Frente Cívico Femenino “Gladis Núñez Villalta” y realizaron el pasado 9 de mayo una actividad para homenajear a las madres cubanas.

En una hermosa velada se hablo sobre el origen del día de las madres, la periodista independiente Aime Cabrera leyó versos de José Martí alegóricos a la fecha. Marta Bonachea Rojas presidenta del Frente Cívico recordó a madres ya fallecidas como Mirta Villanueva, Mercedes Núñez, Iris Sánchez y Gladis Núñez las cuales fueron madres queridas y amorosas que lucharon por un futuro mejor para Cuba.

La actividad se realizó en calle 110 Apto 1 entre 3era y 3era A en el Municipio de Playa sede del Frente Cívico Femenino.
