London's Tabarnacle near Notting Hill hosted an evening of ethical music and fashion. Billed as "an eco alternative to London Fashion Week", the venue hosted displays by various ethically-inclined designer labels, all of whom aim to source and produce items of fashion in ecologically sustainable and economically equitable ways. The evening's sound track and general musical entertainment was provided by the band Phoenix Rose, who is signed to the UK-based eco-friendly record label Archangel^ Green. The main focus of the evening was a catwalk show and charity auction in support of Big Issue magazine.
