At mid-day 35'000 protesters, including trade unionist's, environmentalist's, charitable organisations and faith groups, gathered outside the Embankment Station, to march past parliment and Downing Street, to send a message to the world leaders, who meet on tuesday 2nd April in London for the G20 summit, where they will discuss the world crisis. The message is clear...enough is enough. The march culminated at a rally in Hyde Park, where Tony Robinson, of Time Team fame, introduced guest speakers, including Bianca Jagger, who explained the seriousness of the economic and environmental crisis the world now faces and urged the leaders of the G20 summit to do something about it, before it's too late.
