A new 1200kg model of the Second Temple was hauled up to the roof of a building overlooking the Western Wall today.
The model, designed and made according to the specifications of the Mishna by engineer Michael Osnis, will be the centerpiece of a new museum hosted by Aish International, a Jewish outreach organization with 31 branches all over the world.
Director Ephraim Shore explains that the model will emphasize the Jewish connection with Jerusalem and the Temple Mount.
