LGBT Pride Parade in Taipei

25,000 people participated in the LGBT Pride Parade in Taipei, the largest LGBT Pride event in Asia. Taipei, Taiwan, 10/31/2009.

Taipei's LGBT Pride Parade is the biggest LGBT Pride event in Asia. This year 25,000 people took part. The event started and finished on Ketagalan Boulevard in front of the Presidential Office.

The theme for this year's parade was "Love Out Loud". The parade called on the government to take action on gay rights. Politicians often make promises before elections but never follow through with action once they are elected.
