Clashes between protestors and police broke out at a demonstration held in the City against the G20 summit in London.

Demonstrators smashed windows at a branch of the Royal Bank of Scotland and let off smoke bombs inside. Two of the photographs show riot police inside the building, trying to stop people breaking in.

A group of marchers carrying a model of one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse confronted a line of mounted police. They were approached and the model forcibly taken from them.
