Macedonian handprints against Climate Change
Today at October 24th, the International day of Climate Action, the participants at the Climate Advocacy Institute this year – Vesna Velevska, Simona Jandrevska and Mite Kuzevski organized an event on climate change.
The event took place at the Macedonia's capital city Skopje square. The goal of this event was to intrigue the citizens to express their artistic side by showing their care about their planet. Everyone was able to make a commitment, by leaving a graphic handprint on one mutual canvas on which eventually the logo of 350 was formed with help of everyones handprints, forming one big promise to care more.
On 24 October, people in 181 countries are coming together for the most widespread day of environmental action in the planet's history. At over 5200 events around the world, people are gathering to call for strong action and bold leadership on the climate crisis.

It's worthy to mentioned that the organizers of this event were spending their own money to organize such an event. Macedonian Ministry for Environment was not interested to spend money for International day of climate action.
