Mazda London Triathlon 2009

The Mazda London Triathlon is the World's largest triathlon with over 10,000 entrants. It took place at the Excel centre in the Docklands.

I went down to support my mate Enrique Gomez (pictured at the big white wall & biting his medal) who finished in a great time at just over 2 1/2 hrs!

The grueling events pushes amateurs & pros to the limit. I tried to focus on the people rather than just the sport - competitors and spectators alike.

Apparently Jenson Button completed the course in a personal best time while his girlfriend was modeling handbags on a beach in Tokyo!
