A Portrait of the First Great Demoticon
It was in the depths of winter, England smothered in Seasonal Affective Disorder, that she first heard of the Tribe of World-Changers known sometimes as Nyouz, sometimes as Jonathan and Turi, and incipiently as Demotix.
The First Encounter was in a greasy-spoon somewhere in the capital, but the revolution's magnetic draw soon had her in its force-field, and she followed it first to Notting Hill Gate, then to Portobello, deep into the Garden of the Covenant, and up to 'FreeMason's View' in Victoria.
From Observer, she became Chief Missionary, and then Puppet-Master, before (as Richelieu or Mazarin) stepping back into the penumbra to let her Magic work.
Her coat of arms is the kick-boxer's helmet (symbol of her brutal no-take-no for an answer can-doism), the sangria glass (symbol of her unwavering stamina and dedication to the task), on background of the bicycle wheel (symbol of speed and commitment to social and environmental godliness). Her Motto is 'Yallah'.
She is... CC.

Best of luck in Yemen! This is a indeed a sad day, now no one will be able to stop me drinking too much coffee. We will miss you.

There once was a woman from Burnley,
Who treated her colleagues too sternly,
One day for a joke,
They called her a bloke,
So she hit them and threatened to "burn thee!"
This started so well then died.... have a great time! Keep in touch. xxxx
