Rally against duties on car imports in Moscow

Cars owners federation of Russia (ФАР rus.) made a meeting against the raising of duties for imported cars. The meeting took place at the Triumphal square near Moscow centre.

After the government declared droits on cars there was a mass wave of protests in RF mainly in over Ural's regions. Vladivostok and nearest to it regions protested because lot of people were working in car retail sector based on imported cars. 

This protest was taking place in Moscow which does not depend on imported cars as over Urals regions do. Because of that there were so few people at the meeting point that police had to help organizers with the banners. 

Metal fence placed at the Triumphal square was guarded by a bus of OMON (ОМОН rus.) and approximately 10  policeman. All this force was guarding a pack of journalists and 2 organizers. In half an hour after the start there were no more than 10 civilians who came to protest.
