Thousands take part in peaceful protest

Thousands take part in a peaceful protest in the city of Thessaloniki, for a second day, marking the one year anniversary of the shooting of teenager Alexis Grigoropoulos. Thessaloniki, Greece. 07/12/2009.

Thousands of protesters, mostly made up by high school students, took part in a demonstration in Thessaloniki, Greece's second largest city, to mark the one-year anniversary of the shooting of the 15 year old Alexis Grigoropoulos by a policeman. Unlike yesterday's demonstration which turned violent, today's demonstration was peaceful in its' entirety.
