The UK's speaker loses confidence

The speaker of the UK's House of Commons faces a censure motion tomorrow (Tuesday) after his apology appears to have failed to satisfy MPs. Outside parliament Mr Martin had one supporter. He was moved on by the police within five minutes.

A one man protester outside Parliament comes to the aid of Speaker Michael Martin MP. As lawmakers say the speaker has a week before he has to go - one Lib Dem MP said he had signed his own death warrant - this man with the placard says it's all or none. A little like Charles I who lost his head. A rotten system claims one man's head. The Diggers and the Levelers, the people and this guy maybe wanted slightly more.
