Every year several members of the Demotix team head down to Perpignan in the South of France for the annual Visa Pour L'image festival. A gathering that includes exhibitions, screenings and meetings with some of the best photographers from around the globe.
Demotix, along with the world's largest newswires and photo agencies submit for news images of the year. These photos run nightly on the big screen in front of all participants.
