Giant RP Flag Unfurled In Mindanao: Filipinos unfurled a giant replica of the Philippine flag as a symbol of peace in the troubled region of Mindanao, south of Manila.
The flag, weighing more than four tons, was spread over a two-hectare land at the capitol grounds. Grace Gupana, a Filipino who first unfurled the flag alongside with the Israeli flag in Israel last year, said it symbolized peace in Mindanao.
