Palestinians remove the body of 22 year-old Nasser al-Mahmom from a smuggling tunnel after it was targeted by an Israeli air strike near the border between the Gaza Strip and Egypt. Elsewhere, Palestinians inspect the damage from the airstrikes and medics care for its victims. Rafah, Palestinian Territories. 08/01/2010.
Several Israeli air strikes hit seven targets in the Hamas-run Gaza Strip early on Friday, killing three men and wounding another, Palestinian medics said. The casualties occurred near Gaza's border with Egypt when Israeli jets bombed tunnels which Palestinians use to smuggle goods into the besieged coastal strip.
