Gay community is one of the fastest growing community in the recent times. With the changing outlook of the society at large, Gay and Lesbians have been successful in gaining equality in their rights are citizens of the world. Every year, they celebrate week long annual festival called Gay Pride Parade. This event is a host to thousands of gays and gay-friendly participants, and hundreds of spectator lined up from early morning. Men and women, dress themselves in vibrant funky attires. This festival is joint effort of the people regardless they preferences to give a platform to the deserved ones and encourage them to live their own lifestyle.
The particular parade, in Toronto, originates from Church street, every year in the Greater Toronto Area.
Going a little back into the history, Stonewall riots marked the beginning of the gay liberation. In 1978, in San Francisco, the Rainbow flag debuted which was designed by and artist Gilbert Baker.
