The animal rights group Peta has held a naked protest close to St Paul's Cathedral in London to demand that the MOD stop using bearskins for its guards' regiments.
The group called People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals says it takes one bear to equip a guardsman with their famous helmets.
They stripped off their clothes and donned plastic bear masks and covered their bodies in red paint.
It is one week until the Queen's annual birthday celebrations in which the Guards regiments play an important ceremonial role.
